BEACH BARS

Lovango Resort & Beach Club sits waterfront on an outlying cay called Lovango, in between St. Thomas and St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Lovango feels like a BVI oasis - but so much closer! Because there are not many beach front resorts allowed on St. John as most of it is protected by the national park, they are few and far between - but here you can pull up to the dock with your captain, and jump right off the boat and step into the beautiful restaurant, tiny caribbean shops, beach game area, beachfront and pool. Karma in CRUZ BAY is the newest beach lounge & sushi bar on St. John. Looks like St. Barths. You’ll love it. Karma Menu

If you are looking for a few more laid back beach bars, with more of a ‘feet in the sand’ vibe our favorites have to be the bars on Jost Van Dyke: Soggy Dollar, Hendo’s Hideout and more options all along the beach. Captain Tony also loves to belly up to Sandy Spit and float in a cooler for drinks on a class “Corona Commercial” type beach. Another option if you are staying the U.S. Virgin Islands is called The Shack at Hull Bay on the Northside of St. Thomas. Surfer vibes and great drinks made with locally sourced juices from their farm next door. The Shack Menu
